Pactis Partners  /  Contract negotiation

Contract negotiation

Your vendors negotiate for a living. Now, so do you.

Commercial negotiation and procurement advisory — buy side and sell side — for businesses without a procurement function, or ones that need reinforcement on a deal that matters.

Pactis Partners negotiates high-value commercial agreements for businesses that do not have a professional negotiator on their side of the table. We review your contracts, prepare the position, and lead or shadow every round until the agreement is signed on better terms.

For organisations that buy

For firms that sell

We know what procurement will demand, where they hold leverage and what they will trade — because we have sat in that chair. Deal strategy for major sales, MSA and commercial-terms navigation, pricing and concession planning, and renewal defence.

Deal coaching

Prep-room support for leadership teams ahead of a specific negotiation: strategy, counterparty role-play, concession matrix and walk-away design, and live coaching between rounds.

Our record

Over £1m in verified savings delivered for clients across £10m of negotiated spend, in financial services, construction and property. Before founding the practice: more than £60m of annual category spend managed, and 20% cost reduction achieved on managed spend portfolios through negotiation. Client names are withheld as standard; references are available in conversation.

Questions we are asked

What does a procurement consultant do?
A procurement consultant helps a business buy better: reviewing supplier contracts, running competitive tenders, and negotiating price and terms with vendors. Pactis Partners focuses on the negotiation itself — preparing the position and leading or shadowing every round through to a signed agreement.
How much can contract renegotiation save?
It depends on the contract and your leverage. Across our engagements to date we have delivered over £1m of verified savings on around £10m of negotiated spend. We will tell you honestly, before any fee, whether a contract is worth negotiating.
What is the free Renewal Teardown?
Send us one supplier contract. Within 48 hours you receive a one-page findings note: what the agreement is really costing, where the traps sit — auto-renewal windows, indexation, termination terms — and what a negotiation would plausibly be worth. No fee, no obligation.
Do you work on the sell side too?
Yes. We have spent a career as the buyer, so firms bring us in when they are selling into procurement: deal strategy, MSA and commercial terms, pricing and concession planning, and renewal defence.
How do you charge?
Fixed fees, agreed before we start — no open-ended day rates. Where it aligns interests, part of our fee can be put at risk against verified savings.
Where are you based?
London. We work with clients across the UK and internationally, with particular capacity in New York, remotely or on site.

Facing a renewal, a tender, or a vendor you can't move?

Tell us about it. We reply within one business day with an honest view on whether — and how much — we can move it.
